Nicole brings a unique perspective and range of experiences to our firm that adds value for our clients. As an attorney, educator, advocate, and author, Nicole has focused her work on shaping change in and through the food system. She supports our clients by helping them navigate regulatory compliance and legal risks, build strong and equitable relationships through contracts, and solve problems through public policy.
Over her more than 15-year career, Nicole has provided legal advice to companies and organizations of all sizes, taught graduate courses in food law, sustainability, and food ethics, and propelled multi-year projects to drastically reduce food waste, revitalize regional food systems, and seek justice for agricultural and food workers.
She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2007 and then received her LLM in Agricultural & Food Law from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2013. She is admitted to practice in New York and California.
